House Of Prayer Auckland
House Of Prayer is a Pentecostal Church that has been meeting for about 10 years now. Many of us experienced a sustained outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the early 90’s until around 2002 that has spoiled us for anything else really. We seek to know the Presence of God in all our meetings and yet long for something more – the Fear Of God and holiness. The Hallowing of the Name of God.
Vision and Hope
Our dream is to be part of a great awakening in our nation and revival in the church, and to see the lost and broken brought into the House of God healed and saved.
Our Beliefs
We believe the Bible to be the Word of God and just as relevant to us today as it has always been. It does not have to be brought up to date to suit our ever changing society, rather we need to align ourselves with it’s absolute truth. We believe we live in Pentecost the dispensation that will remain until Christ returns. Therefore we believe in Divine Healing, the gifts of the Spirit and in Jesus as head of the Church.

We are all agreed that our primary call is to seek for holiness and the return of reverence to the House of God – for revival, not as a church growth strategy, but simply because God is Holy. To hallow His Name. We believe the church is for His glory, not for our needs. Man is most satisfied when God is most glorified.
